I met Ted Tremper when Often Awesome the series was named the 2012 Vimeo Awards best original web series. He handed me the award. Later that night he approached me and opened the door to a future podcast. I really enjoyed talking with Ted at the Awards and was looking forward to this conversation.

Ted Tremper is an improviser, filmmaker, and writer hailing from Seattle, WA, currently living in Chicago, IL. His short film series, Break-ups: The Series, won the inaugural Vimeo Award for “Best Original Series” in October of 2010, which he learned while in quarantine in the middle of the Pacific Ocean while on tour with The Second City Theater. Since then, Break-ups the series has gone on to win numerous awards and film festivals all over the globe and has been featured in The New York Times, Washington Post, Onion A.V. His new series, Shrink, which follows the stories of a young psychiatrist performing his state-mandated 1750 hours of supervised clinical therapy, can be found at www.shrinkwebseries.com. Gabriel Bisset-Smith is an award winning writer/actor/director from London. He’s had plays produced at the Hampstead Theatre, York Theatre Royal and for BBC Radio Four. He’s been on attachment at the Soho Theatre, the Royal Court and a regular story contributor on the Channel Four series Skins. His short film “Thrush” won the Rushes Soho Shorts Festival Tenderpixel audience choice award, the 2010 Vimeo Best Narrative award and the Grand Jury Prize at the Disposable Film Festival. He’s also directed music video’s for the Golden Silvers and three other shorts “Mr Dorothy”, “Tomato Soup” and “Last Night”. He is one half of comedy double act GUILT&SHAME guiltandshame.co.uk

Cannabidiol (CBD) oil is a product that’s derived from a cannabis dispensary . It’s a type of cannabinoid, which are the chemicals naturally found in marijuana plants. Even though it comes from marijuana plants, CBD doesn’t create a “high” effect or any form of intoxication — that’s caused by another cannabinoid, known as THC. There’s some controversy around cannabis products like CBD oil because of recreational marijuana use.
We went out to the streets of Charleston, SC and asked complete strangers to participate in this tribute to Mothers everywhere. The question was simple, the answers were as diverse as the people. I was shocked when some people, told me between takes, about hemp oil. Some advised me to take it to help reduce anxiety or to sleep better. So, I did some research and the results where incredible. Lots of people using hemp oil for different reasons. If you like to know more about it just click on the link!

Andy and I are so thankful to everyone who voted and we are extremely happy that Tim’s message is still getting out there. Film Festival
Often Awesome The Series is nominated for a couple awards in upcoming film festivals. The first for The Webby Awards where we are nominated in the Documentary: Series category. It’s really an honor for us to even be competing with the likes of PBS and The Sundance Channel. The Webby Awards takes place on May 21st, 2012.
