Big thanks goes out to Todd and the staff over at Twitchfilm.net. They have been longtime supporters of me and Micah since the Ninjas Vs Pirates days. They jumped on the Dogs Of Chinatown bandwagon early on by posting early footage and eventually the first trailer. Well, now they have the new trailer and exclusive scenes that are only available in the Twitch player. You can check it out here. Be sure to check out the rest of their site as it’s one of our favorite sites for international movie news. These guys rock!

New “Dogs Of Chinatown” Trailer & Poster
July 11th, 2008 · No Comments
Hey everyone,
Sorry for the lack of updates but Micah and myself have been busy working with Rick on the audio and knocking out other deliverables for the film. Should be headed back to Raleigh this weekend to put the finishing touches on the audio mix and then we can see about setting up a screening for the cast and crew. Until then, here’s the new poster! Justin Reich took a rough sketch from me and turned it into another great looking poster. He’s the man! Micah also just finished up a new trailer and it smokes. Tons of action! He also used another piece of Chris Hurn’s score for the film and I love it. Even if it wasn’t our film then this would totally be something that I’d have to buy. The post side of working on the film hasn’t been a lot of fun and Micah and myself have felt like hermits kind of locked away in our little editing rooms. It’ll be nice to get this done and get out and see all our friends again. We are very close to wrapping this thing up and look forward to catching up with everyone at the screening. See ya soon, Blake

New Dogs Of Chinatown Internet Teaser
April 3rd, 2008 · 2 Comments
DOGS of CHINATOWN internet trailer 1 from All Aces Media on Vimeo.
Hey everyone,
It’s been a while since we did a post on Dogs Of Chinatown but things are coming along pretty fast. The film is pretty much rough cut and we are putting the finishing touches on the film. The finishing touches are complicated and will take a little while but we are getting there. Some of the shots in this version of the trailer are lacking the correct color and have some unfinished effects. This trailer does feature some of Chris Hurn’s score which is pretty awesome. It’s hard not to get choked up watching our footage for the first time with Chris’ score. He did an amazing job and it’s really bringing the film together nicely. In another week we should have a more proper trailer with a lot more footage. Until then, enjoy!
Blake
(Now I’ll go watch the trailer some more and cry like a little girl)

Final Dogs Of Chinatown Poster and updates
November 22nd, 2007 · No Comments
Here’s the final Dogs Of Chinatown poster. I tried to get more people on the poster but we felt like it was crowding the poster and the composition was so strong before. Big thanks to Justin Reich for hooking this up. We will be working on the dvd box art soon so my plan is to have a row of characters somewhere on the back that should represent most of the main people in the film. A new myspace page will be coming soon which will feature single character photos, sort of a rogues gallery since no one in the film is really innocent. We will be working on a new trailer and an electronic press kit to help get the word out about the film. Crimson Wolf has been in talks with a few companies about the film so hopefully we’ll get good news there. I think Japan is very interested and I know they had interest from Russia and Germany. Once we have everything put together then we will really push to get this film out all over the world. I think the film and poster both have an international appeal and should serve us well for distribution possibilities. Now we just have to finish it up. Micah is about half way through the film and we have already started to schedule ADR so I will be in touch with a lot of you actors this weekend to start scheduling time for you to come in and record your dialog. We will also have our composer, Chris Hurn getting started very soon. I’m really excited to see what he’ll do for us. Micah, Andy and myself are all hard at work trying to get the film knocked out. Since it’s Thanksgiving, I just wanted to say how appreciative we all are for everyone who’s worked on this film and we look forward to getting you all involved in future projects.
