I love that this is the story of a couple and a community facing this together more so than one man’s story. I really appreciate that aspect of these episodes.

my father struggles with being extremely ill with kidney failure and several other serious health problems that really affect his quality of life. It’s nothing like ALS, but it’s so encouraging to know that you guys aren’t letting it take away your spirit or your love for one another. thank you so much for the inspiration. I’m keeping you in my prayers.

My name is Helen Barratt and my mother died of MND or Lou Gehrig’s ALS in 2009. My latest forum article called ‘Australian Researchers Discover Potential Blue Green Algae Cause & Treatment of Motor Neuron Disease (MND)&(ALS)’ and its link to Parkinsons’s and Alzheimer’s diseases can be found at Science20 under the medicine forum.
